Aine was shortlisted for the Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year in 2013 and 2014.
“I am inspired by light whether it’s falling on an eyelid or a petal. I follow my instincts, feeling my way in with loose expressive layers of paint. Then I look for those clean patches of colour that perfectly reveal the form beneath the surface.”
She has bought out an instructional DVD on Watercolour Portraits with Townhouse Films http://www.townhousefilms.co.uk/watercolour-portraits-with-aine-divine
