Lindsay is a self taught artist who began her painting journey after an injury left her house bound. Looking to express her creative side, she began painting landscapes to explore her deep connection to nature.

Primarily focusing on Scottish seascapes, there is evidence of her travels in Scandinavia and her early life in the French Alps and the highlands of Scotland. She aims to capture some of the beautiful wild skys and vibrant landscapes that she has been immersed in over the years. Describing herself as an atmospheric painter, her distinct, colourful work suggests an impressionistic style. Painting from a studio in her home in Stirling, her art expresses her love of the sea and its powerful beauty.
