Shelagh is an Edinburgh based artist using enamel or paint to create her work.
Her inspiration comes from the colours and shapes of the landscape around her, constantly changing with the seasons.
Shelagh’s enamel pictures consist of many layers of glass powder, sifted or painted until the colours and textures reflect the shifting patterns of the fields and trees in the Aberdeen farmland which she often visits.
The snow-laden skies and striking contrasts of winter particularly influence her.
