Amelia is a painter who is greatly inspired by landscape and nature. Her work focuses on shorelines and landscapes in Scotland, South West coast and North East. She is particularly inspired by capturing fleeting moments exploring colour and shapes, enjoying the calmness and the bustle of colour on the coast line and gardens. Amelia works in acrylic, oil and pastels often using them in layers on a single piece of work.
Amelia lives and works in Edinburgh and graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 1993.
